What You Will Do
The Ministry Service Center leverages 3rd party tools and services to provide centralized support to Ascension. The Vendor Management Manager will collaborate and negotiate with suppliers to successfully navigate through situations to reach optimal resolution and hold suppliers accountable to contractual expectations. You will have the opportunity to managethe delivery of services against agreed upon performance metrics and overseethe execution of governance responsibilities.
Responsible for the vendor risk lifecycle from on-boarding through to termination.
Ensures vendors contractual compliance by tracking and managing performance against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and other terms of contract.
Maintain and implement policies and procedures to ensure adequate vendor oversight
Maintain a vendor management database including managing contract renewals and expirations.
Ensures guidance and due diligence is applied to the selection and on-going monitoring of key vendors to include appropriate documentation
Coordinate with internal business owners and vendors to gather information and to assess project and vendor risk
Addresses identified issues escalated by governance teams and refers issues to appropriate leaders for resolution.
Supports business and legal teams with contract changes, negotiations and terminations.
What You Will Need
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required
Bachelor's degree preferred
3 years of Vendor Management experience required.
5 years of Vendor Management experience preferred.
1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
