As an Associate with St. Vincent's HealthCare-FL, you will have the opportunity to collectand process blood specimens for testing.
Shift: PT- Nights
Draw and collect blood samples according to policy. Verify all related records.
Label, process and deliver specimens for testing according to protocol.
Maintain, clean, and sterilize equipment, instruments, and work area following safety, cleanliness, and infection control procedures.
Assist with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.
Assist with office duties such as OP orders, answering phone, faxing, and filing.
BLS Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA).
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience.
Minimum Education: Technical degree required
- 1-2 years experience drawing hospital in patients preferred
