SUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB: Performs repair, overhaul, maintenance, and servicing of commercial, industrial, and residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Operates, maintains, tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs digital control systems. Must possess EL06a License. Apprises Supervisor of unique situations and problems encountered. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & JOB FUNCTIONS: * Repairs, overhauls, maintain, and services HVAC equipment and control systems. * Replaces electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, motors, etc. * Understanding of supervisory control systems and Data acquisition of (SCADA) systems, distribution control systems (DCS) and other control system configurations. * Works from blueprints, drawings, models, and/or verbal, written instructions. * Performs occasional painting and touch up of structures and equipment. * Must be available for after-hours dispatch and on-call rotation. * Maintains EPA, Navy, and CFSI required refrigeration documentation.
