Oversees all inside sales functions and related activities coordinating with Outside Sales Representatives and Designers.
Assist, direct and coordinate all inside sales related functions including telecommunication services and follow-up.
Provide assistance to inside sales representatives.
Assign walk-in customer service needs to appropriate associates in inside or outside sales.
Interact with outside sales staff as needed. May also service a few contract/ outside sales customers.
Purchase assigned commodities at competitive prices.
Maintain product, pricing, inventory levels and equipment records.
Review dated-picking tickets for ordered materials and follows-up on past due materials from suppliers.
Review customer record logs for recording data and file customer records upon completion of jobs.
Maintain display items, keeps shelves and bins stocked and pricing current.
Oversee and/ or perform all related administrative duties.
Ensure complete customer service is provided from the beginning to the end of a sale.
Perform other related duties as necessary.
Minimum education required: High School Diploma
Special skills required: Knowledge of business management operations including purchasing, sales and personnel management. Hands on experience in cabinet supply, construction or distribution industry. Computer literate and good customer relations skills. Proficiency in administrative and office leadership duties.
Strong organizational skills, including prioritization.
- Minimum experience required: 3 years of customer service or procurement experience in the building supply or construction industry.
